I'm Baaack!

I finally got the internet hooked up in my dorm room down here in GA, so as long as I'm not half dead, I'll be able to update some. Thank God! I was going through withdrawl! A week is waaaay to long to go without the internet! No email, no blogging, no nothing!

Not that I really had that much time. When I wasn't sleeping, I was in class or being tortured. Like tomorrow, we have a 4:30am PT. Boo Hoo! Whaaaa! I've had a couple of nervous breakdowns since arriving, but have made it through relatively unscathed. I worked out yesterday in the weight room, and by last night, I was unable to feel 2 of my fingers in my left hand. I worked my bad shoulder too hard... damnit! I didn't even max it out! A swim in the pool helped some today.

We went dancing on Friday. There were 16 of the 21 in our group that came out. We all had a pretty good time. Only had to carry one person out of the bar..... maybe that is what happened to my shoulder? We had to carry the same one out of the bar Saturday night too. Everyone else went to another bar, and I got to babysit the drunks. Sometimes, being the DD really sucks. I hate being the babysitter of the group. It's always my night that gets ruined 'cause someone can't hold their booze and say, I've had enough. 2 and a half hours on the floor of the parking lot watching someone puke and keeping an eye out for the cops so we all don't get in deep shit, while everyone else heads to another bar, is not exactly my idea of a good time. Luckily, no one puked in my truck.... otherwise they would end up.... dead.

My brother's dog is still alive and hasn't needed stitches, so I assume that is a good sign that he and my kitty are tolerating one another. Well, since I still haven't unpacked, I should go and get that done. I'll be in class 'til 6:30 tomorrow, so I may not get to blog.... a 14 hour day is a little much, but we'll see.
