I'm a bad blogger!!

I can't believe it has been so long since I updated my blog... but in my defense, I haven't even been online since I last posted. I really haven't had anything to say anyhow. Same old shit, different day.

My dad did a benefit concert last night. That was about the only interesting thing that has happened lately. It was a good time. But, the heat and threat of storms kept a lot of people away.

Speaking of the heat.... I just put in an A/C Unit in someone's house today... I just wish I was putting it in here. It's in the 90s outside and my bedroom (where I spend most of my time hiding while at my parents' house) is around 100 degrees. My thermostat doesn't even register the temp. That's how hot it is. You would think since my dad puts A/C in people's houses, he'd put it in ours.

Well, I won't bore you anymore. Hopefully, it won't be as long between blogs next time.

Some stuff

I've been really bad about blogging lately.... as I have stated in many blogs recently, I don't have a whole lot to say.... especially something interesting.

I went to the drive in on Sunday night and saw Cars. It was a pretty good movie. Larry the Cable Guy made that movie. I'm not usually one to go out and see that type of movie. But, I had a good time. I wasn't by myself this time; a friend of my brother came with me. We actually had a good time, which isn't necessarily a common thing when the two of us are together.

I put in about 15 more applications out on Monday and got a good tip about another job today. Hopefully, I will hear something from someone soon. I really need to get out of here. The petty mind games that are being played are starting to really upset me. For instance, I was gone all day yesterday, between work and visiting Peanut. But, somehow during that time, when I was GONE, I did something wrong and am now recieving the silent treatment. Why? Your guess is as good as mine.

I had a great time hanging out with Peanut last night. We played games and hung out, talking. I swear, those times when I get away from the house to go over to her place are the times that keep me sane. I am so happy that things are going so well for her lately. There have been a lot of very difficult times that she has gone through in the time that I have known her. For once, everything seems to be falling into it's proper place. She deserves everybit of it and then some.

I saw it!!!

I did get to see the movie last night. Overall, I really enjoyed the 2nd Pirates, but it wasn't as good as the first. What made it disappointing was the ending. It was like they played the movie for a couple ways, then hit the stop button. It ended on a cliff hanger for the next movie. Nothing was settled or solved. It makes me crazy. I am a very impatient person when it comes to stuff like that. There is a reason that I very seldomly take more than 1 day to read a book..... I WANT TO KNOW THE END!!! I want to know what happens next. I need that closer, otherwise, my brain goes into overdrive, trying to write the ending it wants.

I had a very busy day today. I had to fold over 60 large pieces of duct and deliver them to the job site. It took 3 trips in an oversized pickup with some ducts smashed inside others. I folded from 8am until 3pm. My arms are about dead. Then the crew we had at another site broke a water main..... there was a lake in the middle of this lady's yard. I had to run around like mad to try to get to the supply house before it closed. Only to find out that after I leave, I have to go back because they broke the line in a second place. As I am standing at the counter, hoping it is that last time, when I get the call that they broke it AGAIN!!!! I was about ready to strangle somebody. You would think that after the first time, you would figure out where the line went, then hand dig in that area, right? Apparently not. When we finally got the line repaired, we found pinhole leaks in the main line inside the house. I GIVE UP!!!!

What a fiasco!!

I would love to blog today and tell everyone how great a movie Pirates 2 was. I can't. The drive in place was having technical difficulties. They could play the movie, but they couldn't get the sound across. The really bad part was that since there was a problem everyone started blaring their horns. It was maddening! Eventually, they cancelled the movie showing, so I didn't get to see it at all. :( I plan to see it another night. Maybe even tonight, we'll see.

I got a full week of work in this week. Worked by myself most of the week and ENJOYED it a lot. I put all of the water lines in a commercial building, all by myself. I also finished the drain lines. I had a really good time.

Tonight, Pirates of the Carribean 2 is playing at the drive in. I'm going. Argument or not, I'm going. I can't afford to see it at the theater; it's like half the price if I go to the drive in. So, I'm going and that is it! Plus, my pretty truck has only ever been to the drive in one time. I am the queen of the drive in (ask anyone I've gone with). I pack up my car with pillows, blankets, popcorn, chips, candy and soda. I make an event out of it. In my Jeep, I put the back seat down and lifted the back hatch, created a bed and we were good to go for the night. In my truck, the bed of it has a hard cover that folds in half. If I open the front half, I can sit or lay against the cab and use the back half of the cover for a little table for all of my food. My truck also has a built in cooler, which will be wonderful. I can't wait.

I just started myDVD of the first Pirates of the Carribean, so I'm gonna go watch it in anticipation of tonight. Wish me luck getting out of the house tonight without a huge blowup.... if only I had my own place :(

Well, it's something to say

I worked like a dog today. But, I got to work all by myself. I managed to put in the plumbing lines in the whole 2nd floor of a commercial building. All by my lonesome!!! I had a really good time doing it. I'll be working by myself most of tomorrow and probably at least some of Friday, too. I can't wait.

Other than that.... nada nuevo, as usual. I still have a ton of applications out there and am impatiently waiting for some response. I am really hoping to get something soon. I mean, I love doing the plumbing and heating thing, but I NEED to get out of my parents' house once and for all.
